What are your age requirements for renting a car or van?
- All drivers must be aged 25-70 years old.
What are your driver’s license requirements for renting a vehicle?
- To rent a car or van you must hold a full valid driver’s license.
Is insurance included in the rental price?
- Yes, it can be included in the price, or your own insurance can be moved over if suitable. Please ask our leasing team for more information.
Are there additional charges for extra drivers?
- Yes, additional drivers are allowed if the following criteria is met: All drivers must: Meet all renter requirements Appear at the rental counter with the primary renter Present a full driver’s license and credit card in their name The fee varies by vehicle type, please contact our team for more information.
What if I have an international driver’s license?
- All drivers are required to present a full, valid driving licence, digital licences will not be accepted. If you hold a non-EU licence that is not in English, an international driving permit is necessary. Domestic renters must provide photo identification, such as a passport or driving licence. International visitors must present a passport, proof of return travel, and details of their residency while in Ireland.
What happens if the vehicle is damaged during the rental period?
- The renter is responsible for the vehicle and any damages should they occur.
Can I hire or lease an electric vehicle?
- Yes, we have a full range of electric cars, SUVs and vans available.
Can I claim VAT back on my leased vehicle?
- Businesses that are VAT registered and engage in VAT registered activities can claim 100% of the VAT on their finance and maintenance rentals on their leased commercial vehicle.
What happens at the end of the lease period?
- When your lease term ends, simply return the vehicle – similar to returning keys to a rental property. Provided the car is in good condition and you’ve stayed within the agreed mileage, there are no additional costs.

Can I add my branding to a leased vehicle?
- Yes, we can work with you to customise your leased vehicle to represent your brand.
What happens if I exceed the agreed mileage limit?
- Exceeding the agreed-upon mileage limit can result in additional charges at the end of the lease term. It’s important to accurately estimate your mileage needs when setting up your lease to avoid unexpected costs.
